Funky Dan is a Newcastle-based producer crafting off-kilter, wonky lofi built from found sounds, dusty textures and mangled folk instrumentation. Drawing on his roots in the Newcastle folk scene playing banjo, he twists familiar acoustic tones into warped, rhythmic fragments that sit comfortably beside crooked beats and glitchy synths.
